Individual Match Play vs Field

Individual Match Play vs Field is an individual event where your net score on every hole is compared against the scorecards of everyone else in the field.

If there are 30 players, each player effectively plays 29 separate matches. Your total stroke score does not determine the result; your match-play record against the field does.

Regular match-play scoring is used for each head-to-head comparison.

WIN A MATCH = 1 point
HALVE A MATCH = 0.5 points
LOSE A MATCH = 0 points

The player with the most match points wins the tournament.

Tie-breakers are head-to-head result, then performance on the #1 handicap hole, #2 handicap hole, and so on until the tie is broken.
