The Choral Society of Middle Georgia, formerly the Macon Civic Chorale, has
been providing quality choral music to the middle Georgia region since 1975.
The CSMGa is comprised of 40-50 volunteer singers, making up a full chorus
(un-auditioned) and a chamber choir (auditioned) of 12-16 voices. The group
meets for rehearsals in Macon, GA on Monday evenings from 7:00-9:30 pm, and
performs 3-4 complete programs each year. Music performed ranges from major
works to both accompanied and unaccompanied sacred and secular pieces from
varying musical eras. The CSMGa season runs from mid-August through May.
